Evolución de los medios de enseñanza en el aprendizaje de la Anatomía humana / Evolution of teaching aids in learning Human Anatomy

Introducción: la Anatomía es una de las ciencias básicas más antiguas. Su enseñanza ha evolucionado con los años y los medios de enseñanza son uno de los recursos indispensables para el desarrollo de la docencia médica. Objetivo: analizar la evolución de los medios de enseñanza como apoyo en la docencia de la Anatomía humana. Métodos: se realizó una búsqueda y revisión en idioma español e inglés con las palabras clave anatomía humana, aprendizaje, educación médica, enseñanza y medios de enseñanza. Se recopiló información de los años 2015-2021 en el buscador Google Académico. Se obtuvieron un total de 50 artículos, a los que se les aplicó como criterio de selección artículos completos, con referencia al objetivo general del trabajo y publicaciones en idioma español e inglés, se encontraron 25 que cumplieron los parámetros. Desarrollo: la observación y análisis de cadáveres, la confección sencilla de maquetas y el auge y progreso de la anatomía informática forman parte de los ejemplos de medios de enseñanza utilizados en las clases de Anatomía. Conclusiones: el estudio de la Anatomía humana es imprescindible para comprender y entender las diferentes partes del cuerpo humano. Los medios de enseñanza son un apoyo crucial para desarrollar con éxito el proceso docente educativo y así formar médicos más preparados e integrales.

Introduction: Anatomy is one of the oldest basic sciences. Its teaching has evolved over the years and the teaching aids are one of the essential resources for the development of medical teaching. Objective: to analyze the evolution of teaching aids as support in the teaching of human anatomy. Methods: a search and review was carried out in Spanish and English with the keyword's human anatomy, learning, medical education, teaching and teaching aids. Information from the years 2015 to 2021 was collected in the Google Scholar search engine. A total of 50 articles were obtained, to which complete articles were applied as selection criteria, with reference to the general objective of the work and publications in Spanish and English, 25 were found that met the parameters. Development: the observation and analysis of cadavers, the simple preparation of models and the rise and progress of computerized anatomy are part of the examples of teaching aids used in Anatomy classes. Conclusions: the study of human anatomy is essential to understand and understand the different parts of the human body. The teaching aids are a crucial support to successfully develop the teaching-learning process and thus training better prepared and comprehensive doctors.

Estudio bibliométrico sobre las publicaciones científicas estudiantiles en la revista Progaleno

Introducción: La publicación estudiantil es esencial en la educación de los futuros galenos. Cuba cuenta con revistas científicas médicas que permiten la difusión de las investigaciones de los estudiantes del área de la salud. Objetivo: Caracterizar las publicaciones científicas estudiantiles en la revista Progaleno del año 2018 al 2022. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio bibliométrico y descriptivo de las publicaciones científicas estudiantiles en la revista Progaleno. El universo estuvo constituido por 97 artículos, no se aplicaron técnicas de muestreo. Variables analizadas: tipo de artículo según sección, cantidad de autores por artículo, año de publicación y procedencia de los autores. Se elaboraron gráficos y tablas para representar los datos y se concluyó con un análisis cuantitativo. Se estudiaron indicadores bibliométricos. Resultados: El 43,29 % de los artículos fueron artículos originales, seguido de los artículos de revisión (27,83 %); los artículos con tres autores predominaron en las publicaciones estudiadas (32 %); el año 2021 fue el de mayor publicación (24,74 %) y la provincia Camagüey la de mayor representación según la procedencia de autores (63,38 %). El grado de colaboración fue de 0,84 y el índice de productividad fue de 1,97. Conclusiones: El predominio de artículos originales, la participación de tres autores, el año 2021 como el año de más publicaciones y el auge de autores de la provincia Camagüey caracterizan la producción científica de la revista Progaleno.

Introduction: The student publication is essential in the education of future doctors. Cuba has medical scientific journals that allow the dissemination of research by students in the area of health. Objective: To characterize the student scientific publications in the Progaleno magazine from 2018 to 2022. Methods: A bibliometric and descriptive study of student scientific publications in the Progaleno magazine was carried out. The universe consisted of 97 articles, sampling techniques were not applied. Analyzed variables: type of article according to section, number of authors per article, year of publication and origin of the authors. Graphs and tables were prepared to represent the data and concluded with a quantitative analysis. Bibliometric indicators were studied. Results: 43.29% of the articles were original articles, followed by review articles (27.83%); articles with 3 authors predominated in the publications studied (32%); the year 2021 was the one with the highest publication (24.74%) and the province of Camagüey the one with the highest representation according to the origin of the authors (63.38%). The degree of collaboration was 0.84 and the productivity index was 1.97. Conclusions: The predominance of original articles, the participation of 3 authors, the year 2021 as the year with the most publications and the rise of authors from the province of Camagüey characterize the scientific production of the Progaleno journal.
